About Us

The Growing World Foundation is a NGO Registered under Public trust act registration number MP179132018A1399512 Founder Mr Pritanshu Patel And Director Dr. Divya Patidar Joshi being a social activist since a decade admired by the former President of India Shrimati Pratibha Devi Singh Patil , Former Vice President of India Dr Hamid Ansari, former Prime minister of India Shri Manmohan singh ,and Chief minister of M.P Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for outstanding contribution for children and women development.Following are the Trustees who sincerely lookup for the development of the country.

Menstrual Taboos

We live in a country where menstruation is still a taboo topic. Women still choose not to talk about menstruation, small girls either give up their education as soon as they hit puberty, or sit in a dark corner during that time of the month feeling that they are impure. A recent report shows that about 88% of menstruating women in World do not have access to sanitary products, and rely on unhygienic alternatives like pieces of rag, ash, sand and husk. As a result, 70% of women in World are prone to the risk of reproductive diseases.

Despite being a natural biological concept, just like urination or defecation, the discourse around menstruation either doesn’t exist or is mired in superstition and wrong practices, and that’s what affecting lives of women in World adversely. Moved by this grim reality, The Growing World Foundation started a crusade to break the silence and debunk the common taboos revolving around menstruation in World that are hindering lives of so many girls and women.

Child Labour

Child labour impedes children from gaining the skills and education they need to have opportunities of decent work as an adult. Inequality, lack of educational opportunities, slow demographic transition, traditions and cultural expectations all contribute to the persistence of child labour in World.

More than 12 million child labour are present in World.Official figures indicate that there are over 12 million child workers in World, but many NGOs reckon the real figure is up to 60 million. The number of girls involved is not much lower than the boys.

The largest numbers work in places like textile factories, dhabas (roadside restaurants) and hotels, or as domestic workers. Much of the work, such as in firecracker or matchstick factories, can be hazardous; even if not, conditions are often appalling and simply rob kids of their childhood.By a law introduced in 2006, no child under 14 should work.
